E-book is a new term for me. I was expecting that e-book was something related to particular software that design as a interactive materials to be used in the classroom. However, Puan Foziah did tell us that e-book can be done by ourselves through Power-point slide show. She showed us some samples of e-book, and she told us what should be inserted in the e-book. She asked us to work in pairs and the e-book must contain several aspect such as:
1) a theme to the story.
2) setting (time and place)
3) plot that shows the conflict, climax and resolution
4) characterization
5) navigational tools to make sure the slides can work
properly (can go to next slide and previous slide)
6) pictures must be clear cut and colourful, no different
shades or shadows.
7) sound to accompany the e-book reading
Me and my pairs had chosen to go for the nursery rhyme
song to be used in the e-book. We had chosen the songs
"HEAD, SHOULDER, KNEES, AND TOES". We created a story
about a boy who introduced his body part. There are
pictures and animation in it and for the last part, we
provide songs so that, the students could sing along withthe
teacher after finish reading the story.
I thinks, that's all for this week. I need to complete my
module 3. There's a lot more to go. bye!
